like most gals that love women who can single handedly pump a SPAS shotgun, my initial reaction to a tv series following Sarah Connor is 'OH HAWT!' of course, the euphoria clears, i'm able to form congnizant thoughts and remember the travesty that is T3. i still haven't watched it and i'm saying that, and i feel i can get away with doing so simply because James Cameron was in no way involved with that movie so...there you have it. you could say the same thing for the tv series but...when it comes to tv series that follow a movie, i'm a bit more lax. i figure i'll give it a watch before deciding it's utter crap. i mean, i gave Bionic Woman an episode at least, right?

anyways, on the plus side, i'm happy to see Lena Headey (who looked damn sexy in 300, especially when angry) and Summer Glau's (everyone's favorite super weapon psychic of Firefly/Serenity! what is it with her always being an uber weapon...) names on the cast so...some hope.

thoughts anyone?

My partner & I saw the pilot for it.  It's not quite exactly like the movies (obviously the first change they made was with the actors), but it's entertaining enough in it's own right that I hope it can stay on the air.  Summer Glau (aka River Tam from Firefly) is wonderful in her role (which I won't spoil, but it's not that hard to find out), while Lena Headey shines just as much as Linda Hamilton had in the role of Sarah Connor.

As I said, I hope it's good enough to stay on the air more than a few episodes.  Most of the TV shows I like end up being canceled.  *sigh*

this year i vowed to watch less TV, but one little series can't hurt right?

i loved summer glau in firefly/serenity and let's not forget about her recurring role on The 4400. Very Happy

i love the terminator trilogy. (yes, even T3). i realize that T3 wasn't nearly as good, but it began my kristanna loken obsession.  Embarassed  Wink

i totally loved the pilot! got the DVR setup to record the rest of them too.  Very Happy

i was a little hesitant to bother with it at first, since FOX was involved. but, i must say it was a pleasant surprise for this Terminator fan.

great pilot! i hope the rest of the episodes keep up.

all i got a say is that i like it. ive never really seen terminator except for the first one i think all i remmber in the 2nd or 3rd one is that the little kid is teaching arnold how to act american and normal. i just thought that was ironic. i know im young lol i dont even think i was alive when they maid the 1st one.

I think last night's second episode proves (okay, at least to ME!) that this show isn't just a one-pilot-pony (for lack of a better analogy).  Ah, but the SciFi geek in me is squeeing sonic-booms!   Laughing

the acting is bad at times, the entire show is full of cliches, but damn if i'm not entertained and at least a little hooked.  Embarassed
