I LOVE the Dresden Dolls.  I've been listening to them for like 3 or 4 years now and gotten several friends hooked.  I've really wanted to see them live, but never had a chance (which might be a good thing as I normally don't enjoy myself as much as expected at concerts).

Yeah, Amanda is bi (and really cute), which is part of why they joined that big gay music festival that went around last summer.  I don't remember what it was called, but it didn't come through Austin  Crying or Very sad .

wh00, another fan!  Very Happy

I've loved them since they were playing Coin Operated Boy to DEATH on Triple J (national non-commercial radio station)... probably about three years now? I think.

I really want to see them live, too.. They've been out here a few times but I always seem to hear about it AFTER the fact  Mad

Rasputina is amazing! Dark, romantic, and funny. I love what they choose to cover. Their cover of Bad Moon Rising is great! I co-directed a burlesque troop and we used both the Dresden Dolls and Rasputina.

Coin Operated Boy was a great number. We had an adorable tranny boy being seduced by a lovely queer dominatrix. It was very...  cute.

To add onto the list of dark and fantastic let's add.. Coco Rosie! They're wonderful! Japan is my new favorite song.. of today.
