Alright, here's a list of some of my favorites:

Saving Face
Excellent actors, original plot, stereotype-free.. what more could you ask for? The movie was sweet and didn't try too hard to represent all lesbians; it was just love story between two girls.

Fucking Åmål  (Show Me Love in US)
This was actually the first lesbian movie I saw, which is why it has a special place in my heart. Even though the plot tends to be a little cliche, it's all done so realistically that you can't help but relate to the characters and their lives.

Loving Annabelle
Such a beautiful and sad movie - we should be proud of Katherine Brooks, she never fails at potraying lesbians. And it was nice to see a relationship between an older woman and a younger woman for a change, it's a pretty rare sight.

Ci Qing (Spider Lilies)
This movie was a pleasant suprise for me - I was expecting it to be good, but not that good. The unique story really drew me in and the characters were well-developed. And damn, Isabella and Rainie are hot.

There are also plenty of movies I love that feature lesbians, but don't center around their relationship - Mulholland Drive and Monster are great examples.

Oh, and I also want to mention This Movie Is Not Yet Rated, which is a documentary about MPAA's rating system. Among other things,  it discusses the disparity in rating  homosexual and heterosexual movies, and also interviews Jamie Babbit, the director of But I'm A Cheerleader, and Kimberly Peirce, the dirctor of Boys Don't Cry.
Everyone should check it out.

hmm just about all of the movies i know have been mentioned except for Love/Juice and Love My Life, which are both Japanese.

Love/Juice follows two roommates, Chinatsu and Kyoko, who have a friendship so close that they don't mind sharing one bed in their small place, but the friendship starts to waver when Chinatsu starts to develop stronger feelings for Kyoko, while Kyoko starts to crush on a guy. it's rather artsy fartsy and while the ending is fitting, it's a bit sad as well.

Love My Life is based off a Japanese manga of the same title and follows Ichiko, who's in for a shock of her own when she decides to tell her father the shocking news of her relationship with Eri, her first girlfriend. it's a rather cute story and it doesn't stop at being 'just a lesbian' film. it's as much a 'coming of age' film as it is a 'coming out' one since both girls are university students and struggling with the whole 'what do i want to do with my life?' troubles. it also helps that the soundtrack is pretty awesome with Noodles providing their alternate rock sound. Very Happy

as for where you can get them, you might want to check d-addcits, though the place i know for sure you can get both is the jdrama community on livejournal but you do need an LJ account to access their downloads. Mad

I have just one lesbian movie that I didn't see listed here but I love dearly.

The Gymnast, it's a great movie and who wouldn't want to see two hot women doing aerials in skin tight suits. I must say that I've fallen in love with Addie Yungmee and I want to have her love child!  Very Happy

Imagine Me and You, lovely little film with Lena Headley in (mmmm.. she's Sarah Connor in the Sarah Connor Chronicles if anyone watches that).

There' also:
Gia (with of course, Angelina)..
If Walls Could Talk 2

Erm... probably loads more I can't think of right now. Just whatever you do, DO NOT watch Go Fish. It's written by (and starring) Guinivere Turner and Rose Troche from the L Word, but seriously, it's awful. It was the worst 2 hours of my life, lol.

Check out "Treading Water"

This is pretty good...especially for those of you who have had issues with your parents about your sexuality.

I watched Kissing Jessica Stein last night.  I was good, but not great for me.  I was a bit disapointed by the end even thought it is a good ending.  I was very very suprised by the 18 and over rating.  There is absolutely nothing it there that we don't see in heteosexual movies for 13+ ratings.  They even close the lights the minute they go farther than kissing.

My plan is to rent better than chocolate and Bound.

Saving Face is one of my favorites;

and to go along with Finger Smith the writer also wrote Tripping the Velvet which was made into another made for TV movie.
