so anyone play/played/interested in playing this at all? it's pretty much my main game/time sink right now so i was curious if anyone else spandex'd up. XD

(...yeah, a couple of my characters have spandex...but at least they're all girls? Very Happy?)

i have a couple pics of some of my characters here. i think half of the fun of the game is making your character's costume, and believe me, it takes me a few hours to come up with a costume/look i'm satisfied with...then comes the trouble of naming them. XD much, much fun though.

I wish I could, but it's not Mac compatible.  I really like the last character you made, but what's with all the swords for everyone?  Wink

ah, well they had just released the Dual Sword option so that's why there were so many of them. n.n; that and they finally let us customize the look of the swords/all weaponry as well so i wanted to see what kind were available

the last one is Ruby Recluse, my dual blade/willpower brute. the asian red school girl outfit looking one is Satsuki Shiden, a dual blade/ninjitsu stalker.

the first 3 photos are Kaynex, my broadsword/regeneration heroine. i have up to 3 costume slots for her and those are 2 different forms.

i have a ton more characters, just no screenshots of them. n.n; i really ought to take one of each at some point. Mad but yeah, it's a bummer that it's not Mac compatible. =/ pick up Fusion or other such software to play it? XD lol

I don't have one of the newer, Intel-based Macs, so it's a no go for now, anyway.

I still play Freedom Force sometimes, though ( a different sort of comic-book hero game).

I used to play back when Issue 6 (?) just came out.  I had a scrapper and I don't remember what lvl she was..

Me and one of my WoW guildies are thinking of getting back in to it tho!

I loved the costuming system and the badges, I was an explorer badge whore!  <3 super jump!

oh man, the costume maker is definately one of the best things about the game. i can spend hours just playing with that a lot of the time. sometimes, it can be a bit annoying either having to wait for the specific holiday that you can earn costume pieces or having to collect a whole bunch of stuff (Vanguard merits, bleh~) but for the most part, it's a lot of fun, especially now that you have more options as to what weapons can look like. huzzah for not having to have the super soaker looking assault rifle anymore. XD

and yeah, i'm a pretty big badge person myself, though if it's exploration badges, i'll do that when i'm bored/waiting for a party and/or friends to be available, etc. i liked how LotRO had a similar system with their titles, though last i checked, none of them gave you a buff or the like like on CoH.

and yes, Super Jump is love. so many of my characters are SJ because they need Acrobatics, though i have a couple that are Super Speed. Fly is pretty nice too but having to switch between that and hover in a fight is kinda ick... x_x;
