Hello.
I'm worried that I'm not supposed to be here or that somebody'll chime in here with a "We dunt take kindleh to yur kind hur, bwoi", but, for good or bad, I decided to introduce myself. :3
I am a male-to-female transsexual from New York, nineteen years old, and currently nine months in the hormone replacement therapy. I am truly a girl; not a crossdresser, not a confused guy...a girl. It's been emotionally breaking getting to this point, and that struggle continues to this day. But I'd rather struggle as a woman than live my perfect life as a man.
My only way to socialize has been through forums because of the transphobia/homophobia I've experienced in my home town. I've never had an experience with relationships in a setting like that, so I haven't a clue of what my sexual orientation is. I think I'm bisexual but again, haven't test this. X.x Aaaaaaand I make really long posts. So I apologize in advance if I turn a thread into a midterm paper. D:
I'm a member of Gaygamer.net since that's been the only gaming site with people who are fine with who I am, and a few MtF transwomen post there as well. Still, I felt out of place. There were a lot of male-oriented topics in that forum and maybe one thread I could participate in on occasion. I heard about this site through there, and came to check it out.
I understand that there are people who would view me as an abomination or a "guy who mutilated himself" and "trying to invade the female world" (thank you bitchtacular woman who said that in Maine. ). There are even those in the LGBTQ community who don't accept me, which is odd. I was asked to attend a female rights meeting with a friend while in Maine, and then asked to leave for being a "tranny." Grumblecakes. >.<
If the folks here feel the same way as those women in Maine, just let me know here and I'll skiddadle. I've tried the search function, but it didn't help gauge how this online community feels. :3
And, as promised: Happy Mantis!

I feel soooooo sorry for those who should've been born female but weren't. Being a girl is truly one of the greatest things ever. _________________ You're always pretty. |

| Welcome! It's so sad the gay community doesn't accept homosexual transsexuals like they should, let alone heterosexual ones. On a lighter note, your praying mantis' joy is rather infectious. :] |

I'm happy to see that it's 100% welcome at the time I voted!
Lesbians who scream discrimination when they're being discriminated against but are transphobic are pretty hypocritical, imo.
