Forgive me if this has been a topic before but I didn't see it.

What movie or book(s) would you like to see made into an MMO?

For me:

1) Darkover series by MZB. I'd love to see this made into an MMO. You'd have fantasy style sorcery, sci-fi tech, an Amazon like group of women, and horsies! Who could ask for more?

2) Terminator Sarah Conner style. Faction based at probably a future time when humans and machines are more on equal ground conflict-wise. Missions could send you into the past to try and change certain things in history, but not everything would be focused on little John Smile

3) Underworld. Nuff said.

What would you all like to see?

How bought a mature themed BSG style MMO for a scifi type? Maybe set the game for after they reach home with home not being what they thought it was and the cylons are still attacking or something.

Star Gate Worlds is in development now also. I check in on it every now and then. Oh and Cryptic picked up Star Trek. not found of Cryptic as a development company but they might do the genre proud. Smile

Fallout Which (if what i hear is accurate), isnt so much of a long stretch. I dont normally go for MMO's.. too much power emoting or powergaming, too little roleplay. But a Fallout MMO I might make an exception to. _________________

Star Trek Online. No question about it. Done right, that could be huge. If only the developers could get their acts together.
