The fact that she can genderfuck with people turns me on. I think it's daring and brave that she took a role totally blew the gender barrier. She makes for a cute boi too!
There was also an episode of Law & Order SVU where she plays an MTF who was unfortunately convicted of a crime she had done out of self-defense. The ending was tragic and her performance was so honest and believable. I was even more impressed by her!
But I do admit that I haven't enjoyed her so much on the L Word... Something gotta be done about that hair. |
i totally agree.....i am not obssessed with shane....but i am down with her boi/genderfuck like abilities! so i have not heard of Young Americans....so i am gonna look into that.....sounds like my cup of tea ( hmmm i wish the phrase could be like "sounds like my bottle of beer"....yeah i dunno)

does anyone know if the young americans was put on DVD?? i can't find it.....but would love to see it.....any suggestions for getting my hands on a copy?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there are plans on releasing it, but there *is* a petition!
I did some digging and found this website that does custom DVD orders (ie probably recorded off TV copies for black market Hong Kong DVDs!). It's only $20, so it might be worth it!
Update: There are episodes on Youtube! |

omg you sooo just rocked my world....i am gonna see what i can get my hands on!! thanx....and i don;t know why i didn't even think to look on youtube....haha prob b.c. ever since i discovered xtube i forget to to there first.....j/k

| I also don't understand the massive obsession about Shane. Well, I don't want to offend her admirers and fans - she is nice. But there are other L-word characters, whom I find more interesting and attractive, and I would not be happy if my girlfriend would be looked like Shane. |
