Yes, I hate these things too...
Currently living in SE England, mainly a PC gamer. I'm an adventure gamer at heart, but due to the lack of many new ones, especially point and click, i end up playing a lot of FPS's (Bioshock, Half life, COD4 and the like) after having to build a new PC so I didn't have to turn the settings to minimum..... Play a bit of strategy (mainly the civilisation series).
Currently trying to 100% GTA San Andreas to resist the temptation of buying an Xbox 360 or PS3 to play GTAIV. I have a no so secret weakness for Guitar Hero and wouldn't touch WOW with a bargepole.
Anything else, just ask
EDIT: oooo how could i forget games like the first few settlers games?! Theres too many others I like!

What point and click games have you played? I'm a big fan of them, too. :)
My favorites are propably Grim Fandango, The Longest Journey, Sam & Max, Syberia and Myst.
Anyway, welcome. ^^ |

Hi! Do you have a Nintendo console? I think there's a point and click or 2 coming out for them soon. My favourites are Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword. _________________

All of those are good, bar Myst, i never got on with that...
Favourites are hard! Maybe Day of the Tentacle, the Monkey Island series and the Lucasarts games in general! I've played lots more though.
Thanks |

I have a DS that is currently underused unless i'm going somewhere by train. I've come across a couple of point and click games, but none of them have seemed that great so far....
I liked the first 2 Broken Sword games, but i never tried any of the sequels, they didn't look that great. I had Beneath a Steel Sky years ago! I remember trying to replay it recently on XP, but having it crash between every screen, I got it working eventually though and finished it, but it wasn't as scary as when i was younger |

I finished the first Broken Sword but haven't got around to playing the second quite yet, although I do own it. Like you, I have no desire to play the other sequels - or WoW. _________________
