Hello all,
I should totally be working on my paper right now instead of posting this, but that wouldn't be fun at all, would it?
Anyways, My name is Winnie and I'm student at UC Santa Barbara and I love playing video games but seem to never have time or other females to play with around here, so when I saw this site, I got really excited! Hopefully I'll find more time to check out more of the site and forums after midterms and papers are over. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and possibly gaming with you too! _________________ "The past is never dead. It's not even past."

I should also totally be writing papers and preparing for presentations instead of replying to the topic; but welcome, Winnie! What games do you play? _________________ Vickie

Well right now anything i can sneak in between being a slave to the university =(
They're mostly games on the DS for which I have an R4 so my poor wallet doens't suffer too much, I've been playing Osu! Takae! Onedeuan! Meteos, Bomberman Land Touch! and Monkey Island and some other older adventure games I converted to fit in my DS, I'm hpping to play some otehr games soon, like Call of Duty 4 or something that involves killing something, just to vent a little, stupid midterms....
What about you? _________________ "The past is never dead. It's not even past."

ahhh its so good to be graduated! hehehe couldn't help but rub it in, sorry guys.
Hunterace is there anyway you could tell me how to convert monkey island to ds? I LOVE that game, it was the gateway game that started this whole addiction of mine. Ive got a superkey card which I'm assuming you use?
If you let me in on the secret I'll be eternally grateful

I hope i'm not hijacking your thread by saying that i've heard you can use ScummVM on the DS, although i've not used it myself.

Actually you're right, and no worries about hijacking! =) To answer your question I just went to this site http://scummvm.drunkencoders.com/#whichgames and downloaded the program and followed the instructions. I'm actually using a R4 card which is used in the regular DS game card slot and there's a slot in the R4 to put a micro SD card which you can fill with games through the computer. I'm not quite sure how to do it for the Supercard though cause I don't own one. Sorry >_< I own quite a few of the LucasArts games, including Grim Fandango, *drool* which you can't put on the DS, but the older ones like Monkey Island 1 and 2 and Indiana Jones The Fate of Atlantis, I have the files if you need them. But yeah Monkey Island really started it for me too, I kinda miss the old Adventure games, hopefully they make a comeback or something =)
But thanks for all the welcomes guys, video games have really saved me from this miserable existence as a University slave and don't worry when i get outta here I'd probably rub it in too. =) and I;m a history major so double dreariness. I feel like Im drowning in books and essays. _________________ "The past is never dead. It's not even past."
