Personally after playing shooting games on the 360 I wouldnt recommend them on the wii unless youve got the wii zapper, cause i think they look awful. Best games to have on the wii i think are casual games like mario and others similar.
The best games on the wii that i would recommend are:
Warioware smoth moves
Mario & sonic @ the olympics
Mario Kart
Wii sports.
Carnival
want to get super paper mario, PDC Darts, mario galaxy and wii fit and cooking mama. Would anyone recommend these Im not too sure would like some peoples opinions?

Paper Mario is awesome, I was really impressed with the gameplay and the story/humor, I wasn't really into the GC version, but I really enjoyed this one.
I am ashamed to admit that I haven't had a chance to play Mario Galaxy, but I hear nothing but good things about it.
Cooking Mama (Wii) I heard wasn't as good as the DS one... Haven't tried the Wii version myself...
If you like mini-games, you might like Rayman: Raving Rabbids. |

Super mario galaxy is really good, you get to plenty of game play in it. Only downside is this 1 start level call luigi's purple coins, its hell, you might need a save game to be able to replay the game as Luigi but all other 99 stars are doable.
Super mario paper is also just as good.
I'm going out to get Mario Kart for the Wii today, and preordered wii fit. |

We wii'd some at a friend's house last night and tried out games I didn't know yet. I wasn't impressed.
They had Link's Crossbow Training with the zapper... I think I'm really not into shooters. Tried Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, a game I really wanted to get and I think I no longer do. I like those types of games, but I really preferred the Athens 2004 on my PS2. I'm not sure what it was, though. Some of it were the controls (trampolin, for example, still alot of button pushing), I'm really not that into the Sonic characters... the choice of events isn't that great. All in all I hope that Summer athletics will be better (and it's not as pricey, either). They had a nother sports game with curling, ice skating, etc. It's a cheaply made game (the graphics are horrendous) but it was kinda fun.
I find it suprisingly hard to find 'good' games for the Wii. I do have paper Mario on my list. Also Tony Hawks and SSX, both of which I enjoyed on the PS2, at least some of them, but I keep hearing mixed things. Thinking about setting the PS2 up today. _________________ http://kiranerys101.livejournal.com/ |

I didn't play too much of that game, but what I did play killed my arms, lol. Especially swimming. I actually found the trampoline most fun - doing the combos perfectly and in time was a fun challenge.
Games I have are:
* Wii Fit
* Kororinpa: Marble Mania
* Mario Kart Wii
* Mario Strikers
* Wii Play
* Mario Party 8
* Red Steel
* Link’s Crossbow Training
I gave my Zelda copy to my nephew for his birthday as I never got into it, and I've also only played like a half hour of Red Steel. I think I'm really just not into single player games on the Wii... my Wii gets played when my friends come over and don't want to play Rock Band, pretty much.
I'm finding it difficult to keep up on Wii Fit, I turn it on maybe twice a week. I'm hoping some fun games come out that utilize the balance board. Unfortunately I'm not into skiing or snowboarding, but maybe I'd be into a surfing game?
The zapper actually makes my hand ache after awhile, so I must hold it weird or something, I dunno.
I'm really happy that Dr. Mario finally came out on WiiWare. I can play that game for hours. Now just need Tetris! _________________ Candice | Nietha.net | Kiaya Skylark on GW | *Nietha on D2 USWest

I know! Tetris would so rock! I was such a Tetris ho on the first Gameboy.
The Wii really is fun for multiplayer games. And I do play the games I have by myself but I don't quite see my game collection growing a lot.
I'll hold out on Wii fit until I see that additional games come out for the balance board. An we'll see if I brake down for the new Guitar Hero. _________________ http://kiranerys101.livejournal.com/ |
